HDDs are obsolete now and it is better you just switch to SSD for both OS and storage, i suspect that windows added some patch to their windows 10 and 11 that causes the 100% hard disk usage even when you are Idle and doing noting on your PC, PCs in our assets that were not updated for the past 2 years or were on windows 7 with no access to network worked fine with the old HDDs.
