Help my toddler

I’ve had eczema since birth, and from the 14 years these are some things that helped me: -if you can, buy a soap of some sorts wich is made for babies. It’s really easy on your skin. -Don’t shower in hot water, because it dries out skin, use lukewarm water. Also try to shower for shorter period of time, and pat the skin dry with a bone-dry towel. -Eczema is really dependent on stress, so he’s maybe stressing on something? It’s possible that that’s not the case though. -Some sunbathing can do wonders. Make sure that he doesn’t sweat though.

-My friend told me that it helps if you have a water filter on your shower. I have never tried it, but maybe the water there is just contaminated or something? Don’t count on that though. -Use moisturizers and creams wich dont have perfume, or alcohol in it. -Drink alot of water -Is it possible to call a dermatologist? Maybe they can reccomend something? -You can put stockings of some sorts on for the night, with alot of cream under, to minimize the scratching while asleep. -Do you have any pets? I would suggest that no fur makes contact with his skin.

Maybe he has allergies? I recommend to take an allergy test as soon as avaible.

I’m not sure if it’s the humidity that is causing the itching. Generally more humid air helps a bit for the skin so that it’s not that dry.

Hope He gets better!
