Her Interview Claims

This whole interview was a last ditch PR exercise... and she used the last card left... Oprah didn’t ask her any of the difficult questions, neither of them took any responsibility for this mess... which it is.

Most of this fallout could have been abandoned if they’d just had the maturity to wait a year, let Meghan live in the UK and get used to it, see what the reality of the situation is, let the public get used to her, warm yo her... but no... they had to rush everything. I truly believe that was their major error, she came across as pushy and over confident.

As for the claims that upon telling her husband she felt suicidal (which is awful), he did nothing and they both got dressed up and went out to an engagement... It strikes me as horrendous if true, but also a bit incongruous. Did they have no one at all to pick up the phone to?

She was harassed in the media, but the whole thing should have been handled better, she didn’t do herself any favours with the Vogue issue, the baby shower, the private planes, the obvious PR attempts, the over emphasis on her minor activism and humanitarian trips (responding to a TV as at grade school and a few trips to Africa)...and coming in so strong with her attempts to position herself as a world leader in compassion and wokeness... she and Harry also seemed to be trying to stake a PR claim over the Commonwealth, the damaging colonial history, including slavery and genocide she seemed oblivious to.

I really feel for her, I hope they will be ok, but some of this could have been avoided...Oprah needs to review her journalism skills, I don’t think this interview was conducted very well at all.

And why... why would a heavily pregnant woman put herself in this position and arrange this interview, it’s all a bit much.
