Hereditary dark under eye circles

Hi, I'm the exact same, my face looks really similar to this. My dark circles were my biggest insecurity throughout childhood, aside from being tall. I'm almost 28 now and I've pretty much made peace with them. There are much worse, uglier things than having dark circles. They make us feel old and weird looking, but a lot of young and attractive people have dark circles. It's just another unique characteristic like having gap teeth or freckles or a mole.

If people are rude, I just explain that I'm not tired and always look like this. I think it makes people feel awkward for having commented on them, which they deserve. It's pretty rude to tell a girl she looks tired, even if we do.

I still cover mine with makeup 80% of the time in public, but that 20% where I'm bare faced and not giving a fuck is good for my soul, it's good to not care if I look tired. There's worse things in life, right?

I just wanted to give you this positivity as a fellow dark circles girl, even though it's not the skincare advice that you were seeking.

A good moisturizer does help a little, but I switch what I use on my undereye every few months. Right now I'm using Salmon Vgene, Hydro Active Eye Cream. It keeps my eye area firm and hydrated.
