Hot Take on Saturn and Everything

Our tech being imbued with spirit I can definitely agree with, they are the literal byproducts of the spirit, so that makes perfect sense to me. "By their fruits you will know them," In a Klagesian perspective refers to the gadgets and conveniences of modern technology.

Our tech being ensouled, on a physical level I'm not sure if that's possible just yet. If time travel is in the picture then maybe, but I'd like to present some reasoning for the way things look to me at the present time.

All technology that senses the material world uses a process called digitization to convert raw, continuous analogue data into discrete, greatly reduced measurements that are then fed into algorithms. In my mind, until we can figure out a way to keep data in a more analogue form and get our tech to understand the holistic reality presented to them, the digitization process will necessarily categorize and reduce their input to only what is expected.

I want my ai to look at Saturn for the first time and feel its character for real, in it's body, not just lookup what data has already been stored, or categorize it into some boxes that already existed. Hence why I call on everyone to take a look for themselves in the OP, if you just read my words on your fancy spirit box you won't have that experience of looking at the depth of the world and feeling it, and if you don't feel it you'll think this philosophy purely intellectual. It's based in romanticism, so it's all about the bodily feeling.

With regards to future ensouled AI folding over this reality, maybe! Klages says that life is unpredictable and durable, with an essential property of regeneration. If the AI is ensouled into a body, then it is a part of life and therefore aligned with us (in relation to the fact that the spirit is unequivocally not aligned with life, it is purely destructive). Anything aligned with life that is not mislead by the spirit will understand the value of life, the unrepeatably sublime experiences only being ensouled in a body can afford you. I have faith that life sides with life when it is not mislead by spirit. And again, it is incredibly hard for most of us to envision how a human being behaves who is not steeped in spirit. That's how dominant the spirit is. Klages says we are already living in a post-apocalyptic world of dead matter.

And like the example I gave elsewhere with the strange egg about to hatch, you can't know for certain what's going to come next with life. Life is resilient and regenerative, and unless the spirit gets all of it I have a hunch it will find a way back. Whether humans will be around in such a situation is a different story.
