How are you suppose to use hockey star?

well if you want me to give you a run down, sure thing fella.

Think of the allstar like the heavy in TF2 or a heavy machine gunner in battlefield. I don't play call of duty so I hope you played maybe one of those.

Thing is, you're a moving fortress, you're slow, but powerful over time. if they leave you too long - you can really ruin their defenses.

An allstar assault should always be moving cover to cover. Never use your #2, you must save that for close range engagements because he has trouble acquiring targets at close range.

LEARN: the range of your imp punt. learn how to kick it into different places, learn how to jump and kick it. with a good imp punt, 1 zombie and 4 plants enter....1 zombie leaves.

LEARN: Proper placement of Tackle Dummies. I never use the wooden cardboard ones - they don't have enough HP. Use the tackle dummy to prevent enemies from firing at you, and edge your firing arc around the dummy to hit the enemy. Placing a dummy also causes people with autoaim to target the dummy, wasting their time and ammo. Placing a dummy is tactical, either use it for cover if you think you can win the fight, or use it to block line of sight for escape. Dummies can be used to save teammates from enemy missiles and sniping. before ressing, always place a dummy between you and the enemy nearest you.

LEARN: How to time your #2 dash attack to hit a pea shooter in mid hyper jump. This is the main way to take out a pea shooter. Hockey star is going to suffer in close range combat, your #2 is going to be the only thing to save you, unless you're super lucky with your punt. A tackle dummy can buy time though.

Try to attack with friends, but if not, make sure you have an escape.

If you've blown all your cooldowns, wait for one of them to come back, or else you're out of options in a fight.

A good allstar is a huge threat, and he's my favorite class for zombie harass.
