Biography
Addam Spicer, first born son of Steffon Spicer, and Heir to Castamere, was born a very weak and sickly boy. The Maester predicted he would be dead within a few nights, but he survived. Addam proved to be very quick witted, even from a young age, learning to read and write much quicker than other boys his age. While the other boys were learning how to use a sword, he was busy reading books, he was too small to spar with the other kids and he was bruised very easily because of his small stature.
His father always demanded more from him than he could ever hope to accomplish. Steffon was a Knight and a notable warrior but his son was a tiny weak boy who could barely hold a sword. When he was younger, this bothered him greatly, but he decided that he would impress his father by being sharp with his mind. To his disappointment, his father cared little for his mind, and shipped him off to become a Maester when he was only 13 years old.
This cut deep in Addam and he became very distrusting towards other people. He was very quiet and rarely spoke to people for fear of being let down. He preferred to... listen. He was excellent at sneaking around and listening to other peoples conversations without being caught. When he was young, he would sneak into his fathers meetings with the other lords and would gather as much information as he could, he would also spy on the other lords to see if they were telling the truth or not.
He also became quite adept at making medicines while he was training to become a Maester, but more importantly, he became obsessed with poisons. He could make and identify almost any poison known in Westeros and even from Essos.
When he came back to Castamere he held a very strong grudge against his father, but, he never showed it. He kept to himself and promised to impress someone who cared about his skills.
