Some details I'd like to add:
We already feel really stupid for getting the truck. We know it's a mistake we have to live with. Unless there is some way you can sell a new truck... Yes we were stupid, we know.
I put my name in at the shelters nearest me over a year ago and since we're in such a small area there aren't many dogs. It's a good thing for dogs and bad thing for people that want to adopt. I've been looking as far as 5 hours away. I only decided to go with a CKC registered breeder after exhaustive search. I am a dog person, I cannot live without an animal. I know that is hard to understand. I am willing to live in a smaller place and make sacrifices to have a dog in my life.
We are going to end our gym membership and find other ways to work out.
