How to make my foundation look like my actual skin?

it could be that your foundation is interacting badly with your primer/sunscreen/skincare; generally, water-based and silicone-based products don't layer well. sometimes certain foundations also just don't play nice on different people's skin! you might just need to try a different formula.

your skin might also be dehydrated, which can be emphasized by foundation; considering adding a hydrating toner layer before moisturizer and see if it helps.

you might also be using too much product at once. apply in light thin layers, blend each in thoroughly, and build up only as you need. playing around with different methods and tools of application might help. a finishing spray might also help to make your makeup melt in more naturally.

you can also try using just concealer on the problem areas to even out skintone. but all in all, it's normal to have a bit of texture when you're wearing foundation; you might just not be used to seeing it! take a step back and see if you still notice the texture from a reasonable distance away.
