Father of two here (7 & 9) - I haven’t figured out how to play RDR2 for some reason, I just can get it right (but that’s my problem); however, both of my kids have been interested in playing GTAV together. All three of us have played it together, I mostly turn the sound down and sit with them and kind of guide them thru. We have only played a little here and there and what they want to do the most is just drive cars (horses) dress up in gear and wander around the map. There are obvious parts of that game I would not want my young kids exposed to but at the same time we have these conversations about the use of the language, violence and so on. And when I think about it there are several games I would love to share with my kids, but only in small purposeful doses, which is incredibly hard.
