What on earth is the responsible Ontario voter to do?

18% of the employable workforce in Ontario is a government employee. ~ 1 in 5. Does that seem reasonable to you? Seems a bit high no?

What is the correct amount? What is the evidence for your preferred level of government employment? Your feelings are irrelevant.

So for your comment on "fairly reasonable deficits" - OK what if your spouse said: Honey I have a fairly reasonable deficit plan for the next few years, I want to spend more than we make in a year for a few years. And BTW our interest payments alone will be 10% of our money.

Beyond the obvious and correct point that governmental finances are not household finances and one does not map to the other, I take it that you also do not own a house?
