How have you used your EDC lately?

This is exciting. Well, it seems to me that the only people I hang around with that carry knives (of any use to anyone) are ones I bought knives for. Same with flashlight's, multi-tool's, etc ... So I end up lending my tools to others, using them, and generally making myself a helpful member of the community. (All of this is with me everyday and it is extremely rare that I don't find a use for at least one/three items) Had a party and cut pizza using my knife since there were no other knives available, cut a loose thread off a friends tie, shined a light to illuminate a buddies work, used guitar pick to play guitar, used ducktape to tape things, used a band-aid, used keys to unlock various buildings, used my glasses to see, cleaned glasses with microfiber cloth, used leather keychain strop to hone my knives, loosened a nut with my leatherman to repair something, undid screws from a door hinge with my leatherman, pry'd staples out of a wooden sign post with my keychain prybar, used my Stetson to keep my head warm and block out the sun from my eyes, used my bandana as a face mask to block out wind and dust as well as wipe my face/hands, used money to buy things, used my note book to write/draw, used my pen for various actions, let others borrow my pen, used my lighter to warm my hands, used my phone extensively to research/entertain/contact, used my watch to tell time, spun my top for my (as well as others) enjoyment, used my gloves to protect my hands, threw my knife into wood, walked in my boots, etc ... Overall there is nothing more sensible nor satisfying than being prepared to help someone at all times and thusly doing so.
