A lot of us are from countries where guns aren't really prevalent at all.
Aside from the United States of America and Switzerland, guns are either difficult to get and even more costly to own (due to limited ammo for sale, fewer gun shops, registration fees, etc.), or nearly impossible to get in some countries, say for instance: In the UK/Great Britain, where it is difficulty to even get a 5 round bolt action rifle, or handgun. (At least, for the civilians.)
In countries where it is a bit of a pain to get them and own them (But are not nearly as restrictive as the UK), rifles are generally limited to 5-10 rounds, Pistols to 10 rounds (or potentially less), and in some countries like Canada, carbines may have up to a 10 round magazine.
Something to note about Switzerland; In Switzerland, conscription is required "for all able-bodied male citizens, who are conscripted when they reach the age of majority, though women may volunteer for any position....People determined unfit for service, where fitness is defined as 'satisfying physically, intellectually and mentally requirements for military service or civil protection service and being capable of accomplishing these services without harming oneself or others', are exempted from service but pay an additional 3% of annual income tax until the age of 30, unless they are affected by a disability."
