How would you go on about setting up dual boot pc-s for a school so that the students can't do any harm (which can't be undone) but still install apps?

  1. VMs sound great! I set the things up as some of the students literally have their first contact to a computer in my class :) The goal of the curriculum is to show them how to use some software (MS Office and alternatives, GIMP, etc.), code a bit and see another OS besides Windows. But wouldn't using fotoshop in a VM be slow because of the limited resources?2. I truly don't understand anything after spinning up a server because of the acronyms. What's the gist of this point?1.
