Yes, I understand the appeal of saying that, they have made their bed and it feels good to say they should lie in it. But frankly their population has succumbed to a decades-long Republican war on education and is no longer capable of critical thinking; as fellow Americans, we need to save them from themselves.

Seriously though - I honestly feel bad for them and don’t really think we should turn our backs but it’s still frustrating as hell. The ignorance of those on the right of the political spectrum are now a real danger to us all - on so many levels.
