Ok, so the term “identity politics” is directly relating to fascism, populism, and intersectionalism, along with any other group that uses an unchangeable characteristic to forge political power around. Something like “coffee drinkers unite!” is not identity politics, unless one is asserting that coffee drinkers were born that way. Fascism is the prime example used to explain the politics of identity. Hell, they literally made up the framework!

You seem to be trying to pretend you know the common usage of the term “identity politics”, when it’s obvious you have no damn clue lmao.
It’s a way of framing discussions of politics.
I really hope you don’t think people go around saying “I believe in identity politics”... It’s a meta-political term.
