Everyone was saying the same thing about gsp since 2005 after he beat hieron, he lost his next fight but everyone and their mother was saying it was a fluke when he lost to Matt (oddly both of them). Every mma fighter of that time and the next generation of mma fighters said GSP was the best pure MMA grappler all the way til 2012. That's a large amount of time to be hailed as the GOAT mma grappler. GSP is gangster, prime khabib is not competing with a prime GSP you can talk about transitions all you want reality is no one will ever know unless they fight, the version of gsp we have now is more evenly matched with khabib imo
