Honestly yes lol it was a simpler time. I used to only watch a certain few fighters and that was it. Rarely watched anything live, didnt care about the rest of the card or any of the press drama, just made sure I found videos uploaded somewhere the next day, or whenever I felt like watching. I didn't even know who the more famous or popular guys were at the time, I just liked who I liked.. regrettably this made me miss out on a lot of great cards because I simply didn't know or care

Fast forward to now, between having discovered this sub, seeing fighter tweets and IG stories against my will, needing to watch every fight because now I know almost all the fighters and what stories they have, all the rivalries and bad blood and politics, making sure I keep an eye out for any bright prospects and hyped newcomers.. sure feels different being a hardcore and constantly stressed fan lol
