IGN Card Reveal - Journey to Un'Goro Paladin Legendary - Sunkeeper Tarim

There is very little incentive to consider the power of Stand Against Darkness + Sunkeeper Tarim in the context of Wild when you have already been able to do EXACTLY that in Wild for a year (not to mention all in the same turn at 10 mana, unlike this). Kuyayo clearly had Standard in mind when they mentioned the combo, because for all anyone knows, it would be a powerful combo in the Standard meta - not saying it is, but there is no evidence one way or the other since this sort of combo has never been playable in Standard (and even though it's not played in Wild, Wild decks are generally more powerful than Standard, so it wouldn't have as much competition in Standard). This is a combo which can be tried in Standard for the very first time; no one's talking about the Wild meta here, making the mention that "you can just do the same thing with Quatermaster" an incredibly irrelevant contribution to the original discussion. That's the point. The only argument for Wild would be that this is another card which does something similar to a card we already have (Quartermaster), meaning a deck centered around these combos in Wild could potentially increase in power level because of this card...but that never seemed to be the angle of the discussion. I'm not saying it would be wrong to have that conversation, but it should be discussed in proper context.

You're looking for a conversation which is deliberately and knowingly discussing a combo which can only be done in Wild, and someone brings up the fact that it's Wild as if that somehow renders the combo unplayable in any sense. That's when your rebuttal is appropriate.

tl,dr; it's actually a pretty valid point that the new variation of the "same" combo will be playable in Standard, unlike the Wild version of the combo which has never seen play in Standard.
