That's just your brain subconsciously trying not to be racist. Cultures are inherently tied to their respective races, shitty people make shitty culture. If they happen to come from people who developed a culture similar/compatible with ours, I guarantee you their skin is not very dark.

Otherwise I agree with everything else, I just think that given the amount of suffering ahead of us, I'd rather play it safe and go with a loose ethno-nationalism: you pass as white, you act white, you're white.
