The best way to deal with finding partners is to nonverbally flirt and be confident, but dont overstep boundaries. My trick is to bite my lower lip and feather my eyebrows at her. If she's interested, she'll bite her lower lip back at me, to which I'll give a slight head nod and walk over, intro myself and ask if they'd like to grab some coffee with me. When she says, "okay" i tell her lets go and if she doesnt have the time I go, "well thats unfortunate. Tell you what though: anytime you wanna go out, dollface, here's my number." Give her my digits, have her text me and go from there. Ask her if its ok I call her later evening because I dont wanna run up her mins. or take away from her downtime. If she asks about FB, I tell her, "nah, im good on facecrack. Call me old fashioned, but I prefer real human interaction to staring at a computer screen, dont you?" I smile this line in and tell her, "see you around ;)"

As long as you have some situational awareness and cab read the signs, you are good. If the roles are reversed, such as in your case, still try what I said. If he shys up, wait for him to give chase, not you. If he doesnt shy up, follow my steps. But be aware: If he has any sort of psychotic tendencies or is antisocial af, stay the hell away.
