I just bought my first house and after inspections & purchase - turns out my foundation needs $20k worth of repair

I am considering buying a 50-year-old home with a pier and beam foundation that has a foundation gradient particularly in the back of the house where the unleveling reaches 6.9" at the right corner. A foundation repair specialist quoted me a price of $10288 to level the foundation and replace three main support beams.

He says that the process of leveling the house will probably do damage to the interior of the house which was completely renovated and that will also need to be repaired. The seller is currently offering to come off the price by $10000 and is helping to cover the closing fees.

My question to anyone here is this. Can someone give me an idea of how bad the damage caused by the foundation repair might be? Could you, perhaps, estimate a price of those repairs?
