my mom and aunt want to buy a manufactured house together from crayton homes but i’ve heard they are terrible quality

I have no idea the quality or longevity of Clayton homes. However, my neighbor has recently been putting one on their lot. It is very ugly. Also, something clearly went wrong with the site prep. They must not have dug the foundation deep enough, so the house sits is sitting up way higher than any other house on the street and they had to build a rather tall staircase to be able to access the front door. It sticks out like a sore thumb.

If your mom and aunt are living paycheck to paycheck and don’t have money saved, how are they going to pay for the home? And the construction costs that come with putting it somewhere? And the land it goes on? Do they already have land?
