Lol, one time I spent a full 2-3 weeks talking about how bad I wanted to get a new shotgun, to my wife. Then I sent her this via text and said, “Hey!! Look at this crazy good deal I found! He wants just $200 for this one; it’s normally $500-600 new. I’m gonna go pick it up now. I’m going to meet them at the LGS parking lot.”

I’ve never seen my wife text back so fast. “OMG DONT TOUCH THAT GUN.”

“What?? Why??”

“BABE! Look at those feet! I don’t want that gun in the house.”

“I’ll just douse it in Lysol! It will be fine!”

“Please don’t, I will buy you a brand new one. Don’t buy that one.”

I almost agreed to it, hahahah. Could have scored a new 590! But I would have felt bad. I told my wife it was just a joke and she called me; in tears laughing.
