Allow me to continue for those who are downvoting lol. If a parent is a hacked Pokémon any offspring are consider illegitimate, this has been confirmed by various sources and emails. Does this mean that you can’t do it? No, by all means you can still do it because a Pokémon that was modded or hacked efficiently can’t really be differentiated from a normal one, plus people don’t really delve too much into detail to trace a Pokémon back to its parents. Matter of fact I’m sure plenty on Comp Pokémon you will go against were bred via a “hacked” parent or ditto. He asked if it was legitimate, which it is not because he essentially skipped a large portion of the breeding process. Is it likely that he will get punished for using one of the offspring in comp? Most likely not, but if he made it known that one of the parents was a hacked Pokémon it will be considered illegitimate, anyone who says otherwise is just straight up wrong and you can ask/email the developers or support yourself for confirmation. By all means you can use it because the chances of you being penalized are slim to none, but if it’s a question about wether or not it’s legitimate it is not, but most people wouldn’t really care nor notice.
