kodi and acestreams

Kodi and Acestream don't have the best reputation. I'd rather advice you to instead use either a VM with AcePlayer or a Docker image.

A) Here's a docker image that can stream Ace;

https://github.com/ikatson/docker-acestream-proxy

B) Here's how you share a stream from AcePlayer on a Windows VM to your local network;

Start up the AceStream player and go to Options > Preferences
Show all options (bottom left of the popup screen)
Select streamoutput
Enter this code in the Default Stream Output Chain field:

#duplicate{dst="http{mux=ts,dst=:8902/tv.asf}",dst=display}

You can now connect to 192.168.1.201:8902/tv.asf
