At least 2 more Telegram groups circulating pictures of local women surface; police investigating

I agree on that, but why is media then reporting it as if the problem here is about a bunch of people in a chat group, being the perverts they are, which they are, instead of about "consent"?

Shouldn't the issue here be about "consent" and "permission" and not about "morality" and "purity"?

I feel like the people in the chat group, being who they are inside, is not really "doing anything wrong"? It's kinda like saying, "Men shouldn't hit on ladies because we are disgusting and perverted", but then again, there's nothing illegal about it, which is the same as this case where it feels like, "Men shouldn't look at pictures of ladies because we are disgusting and perverted". Because for all I know, they are just "being themselves", if they wanna be "simps" or "perverts", just let them be.

I am sorry if I sound "robotic", I am an "objective-based" kinda person, images are just images to me, they are literally pixels and computer data. Are they "legal"? Yeah, definitely, as long as there are no nudity. But should they be "shared" and "passed" around like a clown giving candies away? No, definitely not. Just wanna clarify myself there.
