Les Paul Studio Mods or Custom Pro?

The Customs typically come with coil spitting already.

The Customs I've used (and own) are significantly lighter than my Plustop Pros. Like enough that when people pick it up they're like this doesn't feel like a Les Paul light.

Also, they don't do coil tapping, they do coil splitting.

I like the Probuckers and the Custom pickups in my older LP Custom (mine doesn't have splitting). The Custom has pickups that are modeled after the Classic 57s which are my favorite Gibson pickups by far.

The P-Rail pickups are cool as hell though.

Maybe just buy the guitar you want and play it for 3-4 months and let it settle before swapping shit. I almost never change pickups in guitars, I find a guitar that has all my criteria and just go from there. That being said, I did build a HHS tele partscaster because no one makes what I wanted.
