Let's Discuss #14: Practical Rationality

No, but as proof of concept I might TELL you some way that you could make more interest than whatever your saving, investment banker is getting you.

To be clear I don't think that I will have to tell you something that produces super duper interest. Just enough to outdo the amount of interest you can now get by 5%. That is my base claim. In reality I will make a second larger claim when I make the actual claim.

What will happen is that I will TELL you something that would produce more interest. You should take with skepticism and not actually take my advice. Simply observe the price/market or whatever. We'll do one of those remind me reddit ! things for 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and a year.

Also, I told you that I'm not telling you anything that I consider valuable to myself so if you tell me 50%, I'm just not going to respond. If you don't have any investments worth say 12% ROI per year I will assume that number or any other number that you find reasonable.

NOW TO BE CLEAR I am NOT doing this so people will give me money to invest. You asked for a falsifiable claim, kind of, and so now I'm giving you one. I would not about touching anyone's money unless they were incredibly wealthy, I mean incredibly wealthy, and were ok giving a looooot of money to invest knowing that they cannot draw it whenever they want, that I will never tell them where I put a penny, and where while I don't receive anything upfront I get more of any profit than any hedge fund, even the tip top ties, Way more. You will notice that that looks like a ponzi scheme. In short I'm happy playing with my own money and this is just a very specific falsifiable hypothesis.
