I get your concerns because no teen enjoys their privacy and space being invaded by parents but it is obviously coming from a place of care. At least she gives a damn. I thought I was gonna read that she beats him or mistreats him emotionally. Yes it does sound super overcontrolling but maybe she doesn’t realize this. Every mom has their worries. Instead of lying to the woman who you call an amazing wife, you should have been talking to her about how that isn’t how you want to raise your (future) children instead and if she is willing to change a bit. Seems like a big deal to you if you’d rather lie about infertility than have a simple conversation.
