Do you like buying bikes new or used and why?

Never used, life is too short to inherit someone elses bad habits.

You can barely trust the factory to put enough grease on the steering bearings or the linkages or wheel hubs when it's new but at least that can be double checked before hitting the trail .

Some people like to run their two strokes super lean and go weird on their oil ratios and who knows what . All it takes is 40 hours of bad decisions and it can affect the whole motor for the life of it even after a top end rebuild .

God no, never used . People are charging crazy prices for bikes that have been stored away with bad fuel, dirty filters and who knows what gnawing at the wires for the past years.

But now that they can dump it off for top dollar ( Don't low ball me bro, I know what I have ) and there are most bikes that are not worth half the price but they can get away with it.

And if they are going to get rid of it, what a great time to red line it and get your money's worth beating on it before you dump it.

Well that's probably more opinion than you probably wanted but it is the truth .
