Yet you live in a backward place because the cities have become too expensive. I have lived here in inner city Boston my entire adult life and I hate it here now too. The city has lost much of its culture now that certain people can't live here.
All these things are the protect of social economic forces. I think it is important to study the theories of Karl Marx. Marx fully supported Abraham Lincoln and wrote many articles for the newspapers of Europe during the Civil War. I grew up in the Left. At one point when I was a kid the FBI would park their car in front of our house. My mother ran the illegal abortion mafia for Southern Illinois in the last years before Roe V Wade. (I call it mafia because the Chicago cops were involved and some other reasons.) Yet I voted for Trump and absolutely love the guy.
This is a real crossing over for me. You can trace my family's opposition to the Trump family faction of Republican politics back from the 1920s up through the 1950s. All that time the Democrats were still controlled by the anti Black racists.
This isn't about people being bad and deplorable and whatever. The Democrat Party has obviously failed and is not representing the working class. This is the product of the peculiar circumstances at this time. We have just gone through over the past 35 years or so a massive outflow of capital from the US to investments overseas. The party of capital (Republican) reversed its normal protectionism and became a party representing capital seeking to free itself and flee overseas. This process has now completed it is back to representing and building up and protecting American business.
The Democrats as the party of labor must always be for free trade at the borders and migration. It has always been that way. This creates a major problem at this time for the Democrats to represent the workers because the workers need more that anything a rebuilding of American industry and it is the Republican party of capital that is able to deliver on this. Karl Marl was right about so much and that is the red pill truth.
