POV: You hate women and well-written characters

No, what he wrote is absolute BS. This part of the story was the same in the original Mafia.

[SPOILER](#s "The "innocent boys" are a gang of thugs who make trouble in the neighborhood and they try to rape Sarah. Since the Don would be seen as weak if he let this happen on his turf, he sends Tom and Paulie to teach them a lesson with baseball bats. However, it turns out the thugs are armed an open fire, so Tom and Paulie kill them in a firefight. There's a scene at the end when Tom is supposed finish one of the thugs off in a crashed car but he hesitates, so Paulie does it for him. The girl Tom is sent to take out is a prostitute who leaks information to the rival gang. He finds her naked in a bath tub, she starts crying and begging him to spare her life. He has too much conscience (remember, he's not a hardened criminal, he's a taxi driver), so he just can't pull the trigger and execute a crying girl in a bath tub. So he lets her go with a promise that she'll leave the city. This has consequences later.")

Basically, both scenes show that Tom is too much of a good heart for a gangster. It has absolutely nothing to do with feminism.
