Do we want to live in a society where we can question everything

Yes, I do. I think culture should be downstream from the needs of children. And personal comforts, opinions and desires should be regulated based on the type of environment most suited to raise our children in. As a proxy, the family structure and safety should also have a secondary priority.

This is how I personally shape my ethical system. There's things I want to do that I wouldn't want to do around children or to affect the environment of children. And I'm willing to sacrifice all my personal comforts to achieve this goal. Like for example, if it was my decision whether or not they should ban cigarettes world wide - then I would, despite loving cigarettes, ban them without hesitation; even though I know there are people who would be affected by it and would see my decision as a violation of their autonomy and freedom. Because... I don't want kids smoking cigarettes. If an adult has an issues with it then tough luck, your personal comfort is secondary to the safety and prosperity of children.

The thing is, the culture war isn't really about left vs right, men vs women, white vs black, straight vs gay, etc. It's really about adults vs narcissist. There are so-called adults today who are only concerned about their own whimsical needs and desires and don't care if they're ruining the fabric of society as long as they personally get to act like sluts/slut fuckers or smoke weed or dress up in latex and leather and go to a Pride parade with a dildo shoved up their ass. These people would never ask themselves, "Is this the type of environment I'd wanna raise a child in?" and subsequently modulate their behavior accordingly. So their whole constitution is anti-society and anti-social on a fundamental level, and thus they don't deserve to be treated like adults. They eserve tough love. Judgment and bullying and incentives to grow the fuck up.

Being a mom or a dad and sacrificing your personal narcissistic needs for the need of your child, is at the core of what it means to be an adult and truly growing up and getting over yourself. If you're not on that level, then... just shut the fuck up and take a seat at the kids' table, because the adults are talking and you don't belong...
