Living abroad and travel

My father worked in Banking and his job moved our family around. As a child went to school on 3 different continents. As an adult, I didn’t plan on falling into the expat life. I went to medical school and assumed I would have a job that would require me to stay in one place but surviving medical school taught me that I really hated being forced to stay in one place.

Now in the last 10 years I’ve lived in China, Switzerland, London, Singapore, and New York and feel settled in the professional expat role. I move around for my career and I’ve made it work. I value my financial stability too much to move to a foreign country without a job.
