If you’ve given up then you shouldn’t have a problem waiting years. It honestly sounds like you haven’t given up completely and there’s nothing wrong with that. Just know that things like this don’t happen when we want them to. Sometimes it even happens at the most inconvenient time. The point is, it will most likely happen and when it does just play your cards right.

I hear people say “but I’m ugly” or “I’m fat” but I have seen plenty of happily married ugly fat people. My fiancé is way more attractive than myself, it’s all about how you set yourself up and convey your inner self.

If you convince yourself that you’ll never find love, then you won’t. Just make sure you don’t let yourself think you need it. Wanting it is fine, everyone wants to be loved, but single people can live happy fulfilling lives too. Personally I think being single sucks but you’ll never be alone when you learn to love yourself.
