They, many times have no qualms about using those natural advantages to go after exactly what they want, usually at the cost of someone who for all they know is more deserving than themselves or worse they know it for a fact.

Well my personal opinion is magick is also a natural ability that people can use to achieve everything the above groups can. Our culture today has a machiavellian view of people who practice magick, and that same culture has no problems engaging in there own personal version of Game of Thrones, to bring about the same results of someone who practices "black magic" would be trying to. Did you know for instance that ancient rome once outlawed it's use for fear it might be used politically? Meanwhile they were invading countries, enslaving people, mascaraing local populations for... political reasons more often than not. The slavers in the americas did the same to native african religions because they thought it evil and could be used against them. Meanwhile what were they doing? Well engaging in slavery and commiting heinous acts of barbarism against what they perceived not to be people. Doesn't that sound all bit hypocritical? Hell the same thing was done to the Jews and Native Americans, who were demonized for using what people called black magic to defend themselves against a culture doing the same thing with religion, laws, and military might. All's fair in love and war!
