I’m really enjoying how this series is going from exposing Jake Paul into exposing Kati Morton

Lol, well it's pretty obvious that you're in "year one psychology" because if you actually had any knowledge about the field of psychology and its career paths then you would realize that she holds a masters in clinical psychology and is a LICENSED therapist. This means that she is allowed to make diagnoses for her clients. This also means that she is well versed in the DSM and in various mental disorders. She has been through roughly 6-7 years of university training, as well as field training that she needed to obtain her license. This includes studying and working with clients with a multitude of disorders. Yes, she specializes in EDs and self harm, but she also has undergone basic training to recognize various other disorders.

It's clear to me that you are miseducated and uninformed about the different types of titles and licenses that people hold in the field of psychology. It sounds like you're mixing up "psychologist" and "psychiatrist". Psychiatrists are the only type of mental health clinician that are allowed to prescribe medication, but anyone operating under a license (LCSW, LPC, MHC) is able to make diagnoses. This is what they are trained for. I'm also not quite sure why you say that a counselor does not equal a therapist? These terms are generally used interchangeably. You do not have to have a doctoral degree in order to be a therapist. You need your masters degree and your license. If you're going to continue in this field then I would highly suggest that you start expanding your understanding of the terms that are used to describe different careers, because right now your opinion seems... ignorant, misinformed, and frankly, just cocky.

That being said, you are not allowed to diagnosis people who are not your clients. She did not (and never intended to) diagnose Jake Paul. She was there to give her OPINION, and never to professionally diagnose. Jake Paul was aware of what the documentary was going to be about, and gave his permission. There were no ethical violations.

And yet with your one year of "knowledge", you think that you could do a better job than she did. Alright.
