It's true. I am tired by the complain. From the joker name, to the gordon's mustache; can't you guys just go loose a bit. I have waited for 5 years too like you guys, but i understand if they want to go different, than they can go different.

I wanted something similar like you guys, when the shows went dipping into this weird sci-fi trope ( i honestly prefer more grounded, realistic, and psychological horror of gotham, so that we could at least ravish the villains growth and how they became to this ). But then, i realise, well- whoever in control must have visioned something else right? We just gotta accept it for a moment, and see how it look in the finale. If it's crazy bad, then consider i wallow in sadness with you guys.
