Male HOTD fans — what did you think of the EP4 directing?

> But it feels like you don’t realize this is exactly how women feel about sex scenes bc they are always geared for men and the male gaze

Where is this coming from? It honestly just feels like you're projecting on me for pointing out something that you yourself are seemingly agreeing is a huge issue.. when a person in power abuses said power to satiate their sexual desires at the expense of someone who works for them and clearly declines said advances.

Like, regardless of gender roles, we can agree this is a huge issue in television/movies, and should be brought to attention as red flags when noticed, no?

Because it seems like you think this issue should only be addressed when it applies to females as the victims, and we should criticize/downvote those who see the issue outside of gender roles? Doesn't that approach that sound rather sexist to you?

Let's also not forget that this specific thread literally asks for a males' perspective on this episode.
