MarriageFree people of India , How is your experience?

I hear you buddy. The first half of your comment feels like you are writing my story. It's exactly the same word to word.

Marriage of elder brother and the change in attitude made me see through the mist surrounding the topic. It would be delusional ti think that i won't happen to me.

However i feel sucide threats and cutting is going a bit overboard. Your best bid would be to become financially independent and get your own small place or move out for job to a different city. That way your relations with parents won't spoil and you would be able to live alone too.

That's considering things go according to plan. But they mostly won't in such scenarios. Just don't give in to temporary pressure for a permanent damage. After 30, they will probably stop on thier own.

And since it's your off the chest moment, you can talk to me about it, on call, one to one if you like, if it bothers you a lot. I will try my best to share my expirience and listen. But take care, sometimes thinking a lot about the plan starts to become reality - about your methods to tackle thier blackmail. 27 ke baad sochna :) :)
