A little about me. When I was a child, I wanted to be an actor when I grew up. My father wouldn't let me though and said that I need "to get a real job."

Well, about ten years ago I had a serious motorbike accident where a drunk driver knocked me off and almost killed me and I realised that I had been living my life for my father. I decided that once I was fit and well, I would give up my day job and go and pursue my dream of being an actor. Four years ago, I did just that. I gave up my well paying job, sold my car and started in on my acting career with focus and determination.

In January this year, I moved from the UK to Los Angeles to pursue my dream. I left my house, my friends, my girlfriend and all my worldly possessions back in the UK and moved over here. I only knew two people, i only have a few thousand dollars in my pocket and I'm going to make this work, no matter what.

I honestly feel that if I can't act, I would rather die. I feel electric, on fire, when I perform and I've learnt this gratitude for life brought about by the motorbike accident.

This gratitude and desire to help other people follow their dreams is what led me to this sub and is what has led me to connect with some incredible people across the globe.

I firmly believe that even in the smallest ways, we all have the potential to make this a better world and I urge everyone to do something that may help someone else, daily. Hug someone, smile at someone to help lift their spirits, talk to someone that everyone seems to overlook, like a server at your local market/store. Just do one small thing a day to help someone, not for reward, not for praise, just because you can.

With that in mind, DO NOT give me bits. Give them to someone else. Or, take the cents you would have given me and put them in a cup for a homeless person. Make a positive change in their life and it will make a positive change in your life.
