Medical professionals, what is the stupidest misconception a patient has had about the human body?

I should’ve put in the post that I’m not a medical professional but am in medical records so read the charts, but I was really proud of everyone’s reassurance for mom. Made me happy the rest of the day. The provider would make notes like, “baby looks fantastic” and “mom got patient to latch right away.”

Things like this stay with me because unless they’re quoting the patient, they really don’t use this kind of language or include these observations. It’s more like “clinically, the child looks well” or “patient had no trouble feeding, took in (however many) mls.

You could tell from the tone everyone was very understanding and uplifting of her.
