Selfish in ambition, dissensions, factions, and envy; Drunkenness, orgies, and the like! I warn you, as I did before, that those who are unrighteous, Will not inherit the kingdom of God! So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality-- Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit! All of us have become like one who is unclean, And all our righteous acts are like filthy rags! We all shrivel up like a leaf, And like the wind, our sins sweep us away! No temptation has overtaken you Except one that is common to mankind! And God is faithful. He will not let you be tempted Beyond what you can bare! "Vengeance is mine; I will repay!" says the Lord! There hath no temptation taken You but such as is common to man. But God is faithful, whom will not Suffer you to be tempted above all!
