Great post with lots of good advice on making a quality tribute! Rather than re-state majority of this I'll just add some details on things I've found helpful:
Point of view : Top down is the most popular as it's the easiest way to tribute and I've been as guilty as the rest in defaulting to this view most of the time. Ideal here would be if everyone requesting a tribute indicated their favorite point of view like u/minanue does but since it isn't too common just try and mix it up a bit even if it's just holding the camera a bit more to the side instead of directly overhead.
Light: Only thing I'll add is you can get some pretty nice adjustable LED lights online for a decent price. But if not that then using natural light typically works best and though not the best you can usually turn on your phones light while taking video.
Framing / Contrast / Staging: Definitely recommend getting something like this to make hands free filming much easier if using a smart phone. Also with the remote you can take pictures before you start filming to ensure everything is in frame and with the correct lighting everything will be easier to see.
Quantity of Ejaculate: this is a case where everyone is different and the maximum volume of ejaculate is tied to genetics but being hydrated, edging up to the finale, and not doing back to back tributes will definitely help you achieve your personal maximum volume. Also ensure a balanced diet so your body has all the necessary components available to make the ejaculate in quantity.
Editing Software: I find it's always easier to do proper staging and lighting before a tribute which then may require some minor editing rather then trying to be quick and having a lot of editing to do to make a quality video. Personally a fan of LightWorks free edition for editing on a computer, have also had success with older versions of windows movie maker for very basic edits.
Communication and Sound: First a video with sound is usually much better than just silent stroking and cumming, I'm still not great at being vocal but it's something I see requested quite often even if it's just some moaning and grunts. Also a little back and forth between the tributer and tributee definitely enhances the experience for both, even if it's just a few fun comments on the sub!
Final thing I'll say is try to have some fun with tributes, dress your dick up sometimes, write something sexy or fun on yourself while doing them, do them outside, have a friend help, etc. Think of it this way, the first few times you see a close up of someones bits it's exciting but after the 1000th exact same picture you'll still enjoy it but not nearly as much, same goes for those watching us tribute their pics.
