oh trust me I am not living in a bubble. It's not even imposition of language here. where did I say everyone in Karnataka should know kannada ! its sad that ppl feel forced to learn a language without connecting to it. I am not even saying anybody should learn. like I said before, the hooliganism is outright wrong. that being said, if you go anywhere in the hindi belt, they are not accommodative either. the problem is pan india. the imposition of hindi is not something that can be ignored, especially in a non hindi state. Racism ?! wow.. I didnt it was that, I apologise if its racist. I have only read about it in books as being called that. so my apologies if sounds offensive.

and as far as Silicon Valleys survival is concerned, the issues here are more communal than language in Ktaka. blore has been a welcoming city for most part. there are some fringe elements everywhere. you also need to understand the local sentiments of ppl. not gonna go on whataboutery here. it has to be mutual. the ppl coming here to live and ppl living here. my ancestors moved from goa during the Portuguese invasion and it was kannada ppl who welcome us and kept my ancestors safe, and the Konkanis who migrated to Ktaka have also learnt the language and become comfortable with the local culture and adapting. so I myself am an outsider here and I want to keep that openness that Kannadigas show to be appreciated. its not too much to ask.
