I had an offer from the same company you’re coming from (better benefits). Only problem was it was in a city I didn’t want to go to whereas NG was in a city I desired.

I laid it all on the table for them in negotiations. Benefits I’m not sure how flexible they can be. But the more they hear what others are offering they will likely consider changing. At least that is what I was told.

They admitted they couldn’t compete with those other benefits and that it was good for them to make note of. To compensate for it was in salary.

Benefits are meh but projects and the location were better. But that is just my personal story.

Since you are in same region, it will probably come down to trade between the salary bump vs the lesser benefits unfortunately.

10% no vesting period was hard for me to turn down but I’m happy with my choice.
