Hello! My partner and I would like to move to Alicante from about August / September long term. Having spent time there before we decided it's the best move for us as I can work remotely and the rental situation / mortgage situation in our country (European) is so bad at the moment and we can't see it improving any time soon. We absolutely adore Alicante and are seriously planning on relocating and purchasing an apartment down the line. I see lots of long term rentals online for the winter months on various websites, specifically in Santa Pola. I'm wondering is Santa pola very quiet during the off season? I do know it's about 30 mins drive from the city of Alicante . Are restaurants and bars open or do a lot of them close for the winter months? Are there hospitality jobs in this area? Alicante city itself is about double the cost of rent, but might be worth paying I guess to have some stuff going on rather than having to travel in. What would be considered the most reliable agencies for renting from? Are there any hidden charges
