Annemie Turtelboom neemt ontslag als Vlaams minister

Easily fixed by a 1 year transition period, this is a non-argument. You seem to just want to hold on to your double standard.

Of course it's fixed by a transition period, that's the point. The current government has started that transition period. I guess the next government could still stop it, and I will be angry if they don't, but after that it's seriously too late. One year isn't enough.

"Dat betekent dat de btw-verlaging geldt tot en met 31 december 2015"

"De verlaging van 21% naar 6% btw gaat in vanaf 1 april 2014 en zal gelden tot 31 december 2015. "

"De BTW-verlaging is - althans voorlopig - een tijdelijke maatregel tot eind 2015"

"Ten vierde: de btw-verlaging geldt slechts tijdelijk, namelijk tot eind 2015."

So how many of those articles mention "December 2015"? That's right, two, as I said.

Looks like I was wrong about it being automatic though.

Yes! This is exactly what I have been saying all along: the law clearly said the current government had to decide by the end of 2015 to keep the VAT reduction or raise the VAT again. They have decided to raise it again. Just the fact that they had to make a decision doesn't mean the previous government intended to revert the measure. It means the previous government thought the measure needed to be evaluated after a year. The decision made after that evaluation is the responsibility of those who made the decision.

So you assume everyone who disagrees with you is just guessing, incompetent, or just plain lying?

No, I'm saying a politician of party A is a bad source for objective information about party B.

What the hell? GSCs were created by Steve Stevaert, absolutely nothing to do with Kris Peeters.

When Steve Stevaert introduced that legislation solar panels were pretty expensive and that support was actually needed. There were less than 1000 installations in all of Flanders. Things only started spiralling out of control during the years of Kris Peeters and Hilde Crevits.

When Freya Vandenbossche took over, she saw a system that had completely spiralled out of control and wanted to lower the subsidies as fast as possible. Sadly, this was blocked by among others VLD so the debt got even worse for a few years.
