Okay, I’m a new player, started 3 weeks ago, and I’ve seen a surprisingly large portion of this community talk shit about the game. You made 3 main points in your video, 1. banner rates 2. Equipment 3. PvP + Content

  1. Banner Rates, I agree the rate are bad, but you get coins for every R, SR and SSR dupe, and there’s a WIDE variety of actually useful items that those coins can be spent on, and that’s really helped me as new player. So it’s not a complete loss, but yes it definitely can be better, and other gacha games HAVE greatly improved their banner rates and/or step ups over time, and I’d like to hope Grand Cross will do the same

  2. Équipement, i agrée. Getting full UR gear seems like end game content, due to the large emphasis on RNG. But from what I’ve experienced, every gacha game with equipment has some sort of RNG involved in the equipment. It’s common place, and getting the BEST equipment usually takes a long time of grinding resources, for almost every game

  3. PVP + Content, I don’t think players who play any game casually should expect to be competitive in that game. IMO, a casual player plays the game for fun, and if they miss content then it’s not that big of a deal because they just play for fun. A competitive player knows that to be competitive in any game, they have to make sacrifices. Sacrifices time for grinding events, or sacrifice money to get an advantage in the game. It happens in every game. Though I do agree that with the current fast pace content, it would be nice for reruns of events.

As for PvP, top tier is very P2W, but it’s very possible for players to get to lower tiers like Platnium without characters like Godless Liz or LostVayne Meliodas, and platnium gives 30 gems a week, which is very good imo

Also, you only touched on 1 positive, which is the gameplay. I agree the gameplay is amazing, but I think there are more positives.

For instance, I’ve been playing for only 3 weeks now and I’ve managed to Max lvl 80 fully awaken 3 characters! And that’s due to Netmarble giving away so many free awakening items and strengthening items in the KOF Collab and the current Bingo event. They are VERY generous

The other positive is that Netmarble listens to the player base. I read a comment of someone saying Netmarble changed Suped Awakenings due to feedback from the player base. Listening is essential to making a good game

TDLR; I agree with some points you made, but I believe the game is better than you make it out to be
